View Customer

The View Customer screen allows you to view detailed information about a particular customer. The customer's order history is also displayed.

Functions

Back
Returns you to the Active Customers or Inactive Customers list.

Enter Order
Click this button to access the Order Entry page. The Order Entry page is displayed and is prepopulated with the customer's information, allowing you to quickly enter an order.

Deactivate Customer
or
Activate Customer
The button displayed depends on if the customer you are viewing is an Active Customer or Inactive Customer. It allows you to reverse the status of a customer (from active to inactive, or vice versa).

Change Password
Click this button to access the Change Customer Password page. The Change Customer Password page allows you to change the customer's password. Hint: Do not change a customer's password without notifying the customer. The customer will not be able to access his or her account without the new password.

Delete Customer
Deletes the customer.

Features

Depending on how much information is stored on the system about a customer, some of the items on the View Order page are hotlinked to allow you to access other information:
  • Click the customer's name to access the View Customer page. The View Customer page displays detailed information about the customer.
  • Click the customer's email address to send that customer an email.
  • Click Bill To: to access that customer's complete billing information.
  • Click Ship To: to access that customer's complete shipping information.
  • Click the order's status to access the Order Status page. The Order Status page displays detailed information about the order shipment.
